Eve Lerner has over twenty-five years of experience writing and editing sales, marketing and technical documentation. She has worked on a wide variety of assignments, including projects for the Ontario provincial government, and for business organizations in the information technology, real estate, book publishing and professional services sectors.
During her career, Eve has played a leading role in a number of key projects, including the high-profile “Red Light, Green Light” project for the Ontario Ministry of Education. “Red Light, Green Light” was a program for teachers, with accompanying manuals and teaching materials, that examined the role of the home environment on a student’s ability to be taught and to learn. The project encouraged teachers to look beyond behavioural issues to consider how different scenarios might contribute to a student’s state of mind on any given day. “Red Light, Green Light” was a lengthy and significant project undertaken by the Ministry.
Eve has also been the marketing support for a number of internet start-ups. She was responsible for the design, site copy and marketing presentations for the Prodix (Product Recall Index) web site, which tracked and promoted product recalls, highlighted safety concerns about popular products and announced company’s product recalls.
In the early nineties, Eve was program co-ordinator for the Ontario Software Developers’ Association. Her responsibilities included overseeing membership and marketing the Association.
Eve holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy from the University of Toronto. She studied French language and literature at the University of Dijon, France. Eve is a well-known figure in her local community as an active volunteer and an adult education teacher.
